Description

This pack contains the heavy 8.34mm submachine gun and the high-powered 10mm Mockett Large Frame Handgun.

The Mockett Large Frame Handgun was a popular import pistol among lower Estronian officers for a while, with many handguns being purchased. As time progressed, they fell out of favor due to their harsh recoil, cost and virtual equivalency or even inferiority to the standard revolver. Some examples are still used today for their higher fire rate and high stopping power.

The Castleton heavy submachine gun was originally designed as a vehicle mounted or static belt-fed machine gun, using the same mechanism as their heavy machine gun, but downscaled to 8.34mm. Later, magazines were created for the weapon, and it was issued in limited quantities as a squad automatic weapon. Most were ultimately decommissioned due to weight and bulk, but some soldiers took preference to the weapons and kept them for their own usage.

Is Castleton based on real weapon?

on and off, yes. most of it is currently in the test mod pack.

Minor bug found while prone with the Castleton 7.7mm and 8.34mm machine guns. Fix will hopefully come soon. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause players.
