Perseverence and determination. Two words that could describe the exceedingly unlikely success story that was the second phase of the career of Diamond Dallas Page.

Having gone from manager to announcer, back to manager, and finally, at the age of 35, to wrestler, DDP toiled in the low cards until he finally struck thunder, opposing the New World Order and becoming a multiple time champion, as a United States, Tag Team and World title holder, putting on classic matches along the way. And even when he wasn't the actual champion, DDP was still the People's Champ, able to hit his Diamond Cutter from any angle imaginable, and some that seemed to materialize from another dimension.
