Rolling off the production line is the LEV-JUPITER 556. This rust bucket was designed as a fleshed out representation of a ship that shows up in a small time scifi novel. While it looks like dun on the outside...yeah it kinda looks like that in some places inside too...

This ship, the JUPITER 556, was found as a derelict vessel. A forgotten remnant of a space battle long written off. The unfortunate crew had lost their main thrusters, radar antenna, and had a small hull break that hemoraged o2 like a nail hole in a tire. While they sealed off the affected area, they had bigger problems. Running out of food, water, and no way for long range communications they were doomed and they knew it.

Fast forward a hundred years or so and the captain of a salvage crew stumbles upon the craft and hauls it in for a payday. Being denied entry due to its still active warp core, the captain decided to refurbish it and use it to haul small yield resources for an easy payday...seeing as how it still had its weapons intact. Some areas look new while most of the outside looks like it was parted together....since it was. Most of the interior has been rebuilt so expect some places to have new wiring and others to....not. Now, with old age getting the better of the captain, the ship is on sale at auction and some fella will get his hands on a class 4 small freighter...with guns and warp capabilities.
