A reupload of Savage_Donkey's Bushlurker's Carraigdubh Terrain.

It seems that the crashes are caused by the terrain and objects settings. Set both setting to standard and the map should work pretty well.

"Introduction

Once again it's time to inflict my obsession with landscape & natural environment modelling on a wider public!

This time the excuse is, of course, St Patrick's Day, and the landscape in question is an entirely synthetic representation of a small area of County Leitrim, one of the northern Counties of Ireland - close to the border with Northern Ireland.

 Unlike my previous "Geotypical Microterrains" which were essentially public exercises in terrain modelling & texturing, this terrain is considerably more "finished". My central focus, as usual, has been on creating a believable natural environment (that part is mostly finished)... but this time there's actually a few typical locations to visit (these are considerably less "finished" and will be expanded and added to for the final version)

@CrusaderLite just download. It's a small download. Takes about 5 seconds to download. It's not a huge map like Altis and it's not a small map like Utes. It's okay for like an insurgency type of mode.

Me: Pretty sure Leitrim's in the Republic...in Connaught...?
Me 5 Mins Later: It's also a town in Co. Down... Makes sense
Me (Again): Wait so why does it say "County Leitrim, Northern Ireland"? Not making sense....

Update: So, I've found a workaround that worked for me . I set the visibility settings to standard, as Michael suggested, and Gamma and Brightness to 1.0 each.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, your suggestion doesn't change the outcome for me. The map loads, but virtually the first time I move the camera the game crashes to desktop. A specific error message is not given in Windows, only the non-descript "has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down".

The only non-official mods used were this map and its dependencies (i.e. CUP).

The .rpt contains only a single line pertaining to an error:

Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 6F5A7473
