Better General Skill Points

In 1 collection by 冷酷な悪魔
TOB THUNDER OF ODIN
11 items
Description
Adds Enough skill points per General per level to even the odds on the Field as you progress and advance your territories.

The mod enhances your experience of play through when commanding armies by giving you more options through the point system.

As you level general skill points increase but the xp reward remains the same. This was because I noticed whilst the reward was fair to the effort, the skill point reward was lacking. Instead of 1 per level I wanted to equalise that with a points per level system. Level 1 equals 1 skill point, Level 2 equals 2 skill points & Level 3 equals 3 skill points etc until you reach level 8 with an equal sum or slightly greater for your efforts in return.

_________________________________________________________

In previous versions I tried 5 skill points per level and this wasn't exactly fair as you would find that a reduction was needed in points above level 5 resulting from level 6 a reward descending until level 8 (Although this wasn't a great solution):

5/5
6/4
7/3
8/2

*WORKING* V.1.1 as of 09/07/2020.

The tables now sit at:

Level 1 25 xp > 1 Points
Level 2 50 xp > 2 Points
Level 3 100 xp > 3 Points
Level 4 200 xp > 4 Points
Level 5 300 xp > 6 Points
Level 6 600 xp > 7 Points
Level 7 800 xp > 8 Points
Level 8 1000 xp > 9 Points

It says the mod is out of date, should it still work fine?

Okay, thanks!

@Garbage Man This is save game compatible. You won't need to respec a general as this mod gives you enough skill points to totally max out a general. You can if you wish however. :)

Is this save game compatible? Also, can I respec a maxed out general?

Please list your current mods.

I last updated to latest patch of the game and was *WORKING* V.1.1 as of 09/07/2020.

The tables now sit at:

Level 1 25 xp > 1 Points
Level 2 50 xp > 2 Points
Level 3 100 xp > 3 Points
Level 4 200 xp > 4 Points
Level 5 300 xp > 6 Points
Level 6 600 xp > 7 Points
Level 7 800 xp > 8 Points
Level 8 1000 xp > 9 Points

It definitely works.

You won't see increases until you get to generals 3 star and above as the list I have given shows. Each level you gain increases the amount of points received by 1.

Hi all,

I will be returning within the next few weeks stay tuned. I'll look at this again then. Hasn't been updated in some time maybe this will be a fix or it will need the correct spread sheet cell from the Database. Thanks for your patience.

As you level general skill points increase but the xp reward remains the same. This was because I noticed whilst the reward was fair to the effort, the skill point reward was lacking. Instead of 1 per level I wanted to equalise that with a points per level system. 1=1 skill point = equals, 2 skill points & 3 equals 3 skill points etc until you reach level 10 with 10 skill points in return. Previous I tried 5 skill points per level and this was exactly fair as you would find that a reduction was needed in points above level 5 resulting from level 6 a reward descending until level 10:

6/5
7/4
8/3
9/2
10/1

I'll rework that until I see everyone's happy with the end result.

Happy new year folks! :steamhappy:

I confirm. Impossible to validate a level :/
