Rodents of unusual size? I don't think they exist.


-Adds large, predatory rats to the wildlife rotation. They favor swamps but can be (less commonly) found in any vanilla biome which spawns normal sized rats.

-Like normal rats, rodents of unusual size are intelligent, social creatures--fully trainable and tend to spawn in packs. Be extra careful when hunting or taming them, as they can be quite dangerous!

-Woo your colonists with fabulous ratskin parkas and armchairs. Employ pack-rats in your caravans to take the load off your colonists' backs.


No known incompatibilities. Just drop below Core and you are good to go. Works with existing saves. Works with Zetrith's multiplayer mod. =)

Includes self-contained patches for the mods mentioned below. No work needed on your part, and they only apply if you have the relevant mod(s).

-A Dog Said... Animal Prosthetics - Build your own cybernetically-enhanced rat army!
-Combat Extended - large rats work with CE.
-Ratkin - adds 4 large rats to the 'ratkin colony' starting scenario. Why not.
-Giddy-up - large rats can used as mounts.
-Rats! - unattended meat can attract large rats if you have this mod installed.
