Description
My first ever mod, and while I have tried it probably needs more testing, so if there are issues let me know and I’ll try and address them.

What is this mod? It’s like the Continental Dawn scenario but with a (new) world map with 6 locations on it. There are 7 milestones to reach (the toughest one is 225 population).

What’s new?
*The main thing I have tried to do is to customize the maps as best I can given that the algorithm that has a mind of its own.
*Locations have varying weather – long cold winters in the north, hot dry summers in the south. *Growing and harvesting seasons also vary, as does vegetation (forest is conifers only in the north).
*Some rivers have ‘salmon runs’ so fishing is extra productive in Spring/Summer.
*Raiders! Hate them in vanilla so early game you get wild animals (lions, wolves, bears; mid game mammoths) – please note the use of plural. Human raiders will come, but not until the Bronze Age and they will come in numbers (4 raiders attacking a village of 60 seems ridiculous).
*Tech needs 20% more points so you will really have to work hard to advance (this may be to grindy -see what you think).
*You will start with 3 mined megaliths in camp – that’s a bonus – but you can’t move them until the Neolthic !!!
Animal extinctions have been removed, but creatures such as mammoths and woolly rhinos do become rarer as the eras advance.

Locations:
The Cahara River – A northern flood plain, long cold winters but flat.
The Upper Velathri River – At the confluence of 2 rivers which have created a plain broken into 3 pieces. The surrounding terrain is rocky hills and outcrops. Weather is temperate with varied forests.
The Lower Velathri River – Your camp sits on a great bend in the river at the mouth of a long narrow gorge. The gorge itself is flat, but where to put fields in this mountainous stretch of river?
The Lake of Tak’rii – one of many lakes in this area. The land here is generally very open but with steep rocky hills separating the lakes.
The Makkalet – a hot, dry and rocky region with snowless winters. Your camp sits on a flat isthmus with a river on one side and a lake on the other.
The Barghir Vale – Also in the hotter south, a mountainous region where the river has carved its way through, very resource rich.

维拉特里河下游——你的营地坐落在一条狭长峡谷口的一个大弯道上。峡谷本身是平坦的,但在这条多山的河流中,哪里可以种植田地呢?
塔克里湖——该地区众多湖泊之一。这里的土地通常非常开阔,但陡峭的岩石丘陵将湖泊隔开。
Makkalet–一个炎热、干燥且多岩石的地区,冬季无雪。你的营地坐落在平坦的地峡上,一边是河流,另一边是湖泊。
巴希尔谷——同样位于更炎热的南部,这是一个多山地区,河流在这里蜿蜒流过,资源十分丰富。

Howto create terrain and examples to download. My latest added locations for The Flatlands are made with the latest provided tools (overrides for resources like sticks and stuff).

Thank you for the swift response. I'll do just that. Without modification though, I love the mod. I've put in several hours on this one.

@TWManiac, the seed maps are generated (or were when the mod was originally made) using an algorithm that only allows you to put in a numeric value that determines how 'severe' the terrain is - a small number for terrain height results in a generally flatter map with rolling hills while a big number produces very high and steep mountains. In terms of being able to finesse the terrain on a map, think of the map generation process as the equivalent of trying to delicately do brain surgery with sticks of dynamite. If you want help with modding though, head over to the discussion pages for it, lots of help there from experts like Schwifty K and Gonar - I'm just a rank amateur I'm afraid.

Is it possible to modify the terrain at all? I'm not sure how the modding works with this game.
