This is probably obvious/old news to anyone who uses mods, but since this is the only mod I've ever used for civ 5 I didn't know I needed to do something special to enable it.
Thanks to the author!
So yea, removed all other mods again and only am running this one. Still doesn't work. I run the game on english so I doubt it's a localization issue.
Though I'm running on a QWERTZ keyboard, maybe it doesn't like that? Don't think it should have any effect though
Did you try it with no other mods active? Note there are a few other mods that also replace WorldView.lua. Search your mods folder for that filename.
It enables the mod, runs the config thingy and... nothing
You only want to activate one of them (i.e., this one; unsubscribe from the rest). Hit the "Next" button after you activate it in the Mods menu, then start a new game or load an existing one.
If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache [forums.civfanatics.com]. If you have a lot of mods, first write down which ones you have active, because you'll have to reactivate them all.
But WASD still doesn't work... any advice?
Also great job on all the other versions!
You can copy the WorldView.lua file over the one located in your CiV program folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\ -- the subfolder is indicated in the description above (for users with Gods+Kings, but not Brave New World).
However, that won't change the other hotkeys. You'll need to change those by editing the files located in -- again, for G+K only -- Assets\DLC\Expansion\Gameplay\XML\ (CIV5Automates.xml, CIV5Builds.xml, CIV5Controls.xml, CIV5InterfaceModes.xml, and CIV5Missions.xml)
