MAZ-582 Krokodil

Description
Now with performance upgrade!
(four batteries added)

This basically originates from a challenge (a friend showing me a picture of the 1978 Terex MX 8x8), but it'll most likely see active service! woohoo, exciting!

It's able to pull big-block trailers, but I haven't built any yet. Stay tuned.
(Edit: I've started building one, and it works fiiiiiiiiine)

The two awesome scripts are from the legendary Wanderer_308!
DAS: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1089115113
The other script was posted in the discussion forum for the DAS, it has no own page (I think)

Attention - the script has beed adapted to the specific needs of the vehicle!

Hotbar controls:
Ctrl+1
1 - Speed Limit 5 km/h
2 - Speed Limit 20 km/h
3 - Speed Limit 50 km/h
4 - Speed Limit 90 km/h
5 - Speed Limit 130 km/h
6 - Reverse Camera
7 - Warning Lights
8 - Nearfield Lights
9 - Spotlights

Ctrl+2
1-7 - free
8 - Suspension low preset
9 - Suspension high preset

Why is it called "MAZ-582"? Well, the MAZ stands for "Mächtige Allgelände-Zugmaschine (Mighty All-Terrain Tractor). And the "582" stands for:
5 - 5x5 size wheels
8 - 8x8 axle configuration
2 - sequence number

Sounds good I love the look of this rover and was wanting to use it as a tractor with ore hauling trailer.

Glad to hear so!
The script automatically outputs the max power and friction to the wheels, only decreasing it when necessary. So for more towing capacity, you'd need a bigger vehicle :)
Except you're running into power supply issues, that's fixable

That is very helpful. I've been messing with the script to work with a cargo trailer that I'm building and I was wondering if you have any Ideas to increase towing capacity.

Hey again Tabor_14, I've added the toolbar config to the description. Didn't have the energy to do the software update today, just not motivated enough. I'll upload it as soon as I get it done though.

Thanks!

Hey Tabor_14, sure thing! Might take until tomorrow though. I'll also update the DAS while doing that, so you get all the awesome new features.

Could you post what the toolbars are bound to?

Hey wulfngar, thanks for the interest! I've been off the truck development for a bit, but wanna pick it up again - any wishes for a specific purpose trailer?

Any Chance of a trailer being made for this? as i am really interested on your take of a trailer for this

Edit: I thought I had placed batteries back there, but I apparently ditched them due to the wheels rubbing on them ... however, now there's batteries! :D
