Emley Moor Transmission Tower

Located to the North East of Huddersfield, UK, this tower is the tallest freestanding structure in the UK at 330m tall. Made from concrete, the tower is the third one on the site, the original tower was just a mere 23 meters tall and was later replaced by a much taller 386m mast, which unfortunately was brought down in high winds during the 1950s, at the end of the decade the 330m tower we see today was erected.
