All clubs from the UK and Ireland have had all of their players released but have also been compensated with a big wage budget to start over and build a new squad.
All staff have also been removed (excluding Chairmen and Directors as they can't be signed to new clubs) so it really is a full rebuilding job.

I've tested out the database a few times and had varying results. Some interesting signings are Raheem Sterling going back to Liverpool, Kante and Pogba signing for Spurs, Liverpool signing the Man Utd defence (Lindelof, Smalling and Shaw all at once) and Kenny Miller going back to Celtic.
