STATUS M42 CS Starter Ship

Description

Vehicles can be a bit of a pain to use and drive. What with their switches, and levers, and buttons, and clutches... Not anymore.

Just get in, flip the breakers, and go. When it's time to reverse, just hold 'S'. You don't have to come to a complete stop, you don't have to mess with a clutch, and you don't have to press a button.

STATUS DE3S diesel electric drive system provides smooth sailing at 33 knots. The STATUS Electric Ship Control microcontroller takes complete control of the diesel generator. By default, the generator will start when charge drops below 90%, and will run as long as the throttle is applied. Once no throttle input is detected it will either cut off, or continue to run until the batteries are fully charged. This allows you to leave lights and things on without worrying about draining your batteries.

With a total cost of only $5344 with starter equipment, you'll have lots of money left over.

Designed with the demands of starter missions in mind, the M42 CS cruises at a stable 33 knots, seats up to 8, has space for delivery missions, includes a connector for towing, and even sleeps two in its comfortable cabin. And because there is no door frame to the cabin, there is no risk of flooding the boat in adverse weather conditions.

A planing hull with a low center of gravity and excellent weight balance mean you'll glide over all but the largest of waves. While it is capable of handling even deep ocean waves without risk of capsizing, it is recommended to avoid them, as this is still a small boat.

Thank you for downloading my starter boat. It was built with the goal of being extremely user friendly and efficient. I hope you'll find I've achieved these goals. If you have any suggestions or comments, I am very fond of constructive criticism. This is made for you, and I'd love to know how to make it better.

Again, I hope you enjoy using it as much as I've enjoyed building it!

This was made over 2 years ago. Those sorts of things didn't exist. I'm surprised you even found this lol. Yeah I don't think this boat works any more.

Is there no transponder tracker, or am I just not finding it? Seems like it'd be pretty important for early-game missions.

@tippers: I'm glad to hear you found my boat useful! Looks like the last update has broken lots of diesel-electric builds. I am in the middle of a big Space Engineers project at the moment, so it will be a while before I make it back to fix these.
