Easier Victory Conditions

Description
Summary

This mod is dedicated to all the super busy people out there that don't have as much time as they used to and want to feel a sense of accomplishment in a shorter span of time.

This mod changes the Victory Conditions of all playable factions (excluding West Seaxe) so that the objectives are easier to obtain. West Seaxe is expected to still have the easiest time achieving victory conditions. The difficulty of obtaining victory conditions should feel somewhere between day-1 Thrones of Britannia and its current state.

Smaller factions will now start with Short Victory conditions 15-20% complete, with bigger factions starting closer to 40% complete. West Seaxe remains over 50% complete at the beginning of the campaign.

Long Victory conditions are reduced as well though by a much smaller percentage.

The idea is to be able to accomplish a Short Victory with any faction after entering what would considered the "mid-game", while Long Victory conditions remain more of a "late-game" goal.

- Short Conquest requirements reduced by 50%.
- Long Conquest requirements reduced by 25%.
- Short KINGDOM requirements reduced by 45%. (From 15 docks to 8.)
- Long KINGDOM requirements reduced by 25%. (From 30 docks to 23.)

Sudreyar

Fame Victories

I'm not overly familiar with Fame Victories but they always seemed to be way out of reach in my play throughs. For all factions except for West Seaxe and Mierce, I've reduced Short Fame victory conditions by 50%, and Long Fame victory conditions by 25%. Both West Seaxe and Mierce start with significantly more fame than any of the other factions so I felt it didn't make sense to reduce their conditions. This change is made in hopes of making Fame Victories a more appealing prospect.

Please feel free to comment on difficulty balance and on other ideas on how Victory Conditions can be improved on!


Compatibility

This mod with NOT be compatible with any mods that edit startpos.
This mod is also NOT save game compatible. You will need to start a new game to see the changes.

Guys, I’ve found the problem.
If you're using Radious mod, do not use this mod together with it:

It completely breaks the unit recruitment pool — units simply don’t appear in the recruitment panel after unlocking them via tech tree.

Also, make sure to load Radious mod at the very top of your mod load order in the launcher.
That’s the only way everything works correctly without bugs or missing units.

Is it possible to reduce the Kingdom Victory Conditions for Circenn? I hate to conquer half Ireland and England for the new faction names :D

With the Fame Victories, can you just remove the building requirements and return it to how it was before?...ie. A nice simple option to achieve a basic victory just gradually accumulating Fame points by playing the game however you want to play it...It went from being the simplest and most open way to play the game to becoming virtually impossible and even pointless with most of the other victory possibilities fulfillable long before you even managed to build just one of the required buildings demanded of the new conditions and not really caring whether you wanted to anyway...;)
