Ultima Weapon Reborn (Greatsword)

Description
A custom re-make of the Ultima Weapon from Final Fantasy VII, remade by Kyriya for use in Final Fantasy XV.

One Handed version here:

The re-design was inspired by the Dissidia012 version of the Ultima Weapon combined with the original design from Final Fantasy VII (1997). I wanted it to remain fairly faithful to the original design while adding the details that a PS1 could never render. This was quite a fun project!

The Sword features a day mode and night mode (where the blade begins to glow).
Detailed reflective metal and a partly transparent blade to emulate the visual look of the original VII Ultima Weapon.
This project took a long time and I'm very happy with how it ended up, hopefully you are too! ^-^

@[Starcat5] Sadly I tried changing the negative value. A friend of mine did try and say about potentially keeping things within a 256/512 range, maybe that is the check. But indeed I would assume it enforces the "100 point cap" that it calculates and if its edited to be above it then its prevented from loading/ being used.

It wasn't the negative value that did it? No, I assume that you already checked that. In that case, anything that falls outside of the tool's 100 point allotment system must fail a sanity check and thus isn't shown. Drat. There are so many great works here that deserve so much better. Even allowing a buff on an outfit (Inf Stamina, etc) would have given me cause to change THAT at least...

Don't worry dude, it still looks cool as hell

@[TrainerWSM] [Starcat5] I have tried to exceed the stat limit by editing the data associated with the Mod Organizer weapons. I was able to get it to apply to the built version of the weapon as "700 attack, 350 Strength, -2000 HP etc etc"
However doing this would result in the weapon build having the correct stats (as per the modified config) in file, but not being able to be used or even appear in game under "Mods".

It's a shame as I really wanted this weapon to be interesting, kind of like a "Challenge" weapon that has good power at the cost of defence, it looks like it can "build" like it, its just making it readable to the game once it has been configured it in such a way. :sad_creep:

Of course it is. The currently available mod tools have a stat cap in place to keep players from making God Mode weapons. This ALSO results in said weapons becoming obsolete once Chapter 3 rolls around. :angrytiger: In the end, until someone figures out how to mod the mods to make them viable long term, they are only useful as trophy weapons and as Stat Sticks.

Really weak for a greatsword tbh
