I like the way decorations have been used to give this impression of torn and broken rooms.
Detective work is classic mainstay of noir genre which Deadbolt is seemingly influenced by so it's really fitting and nice to see as it doesn't play that much of an element usually in-game. This is an area of design space I would very much like to see experimented further on.
I started to experience a framerate of around 40/60 fps on the fridge hunt part which immediately was a bad sign. What's the point of this section? Just trial and error with invisible traps? It starting with an unnecessary locked door you have to pick lock each time is bs btw. When I managed to get to the "I'm no swimmer" part, I just fell off the stage and nothing happens. A bug?
