Arachlapod

The Arachlapod is asexual, meaning it doesn't need to mate to reproduce. The egg sac located on this creature's rump is filled with hundreds of eggs that hatch apon their mothers death. The Arachlings use the corpse of their deceased mother as a food source and shelter until it has been completely consumed. The Arachlapod has suction cups on each arm for subduing their prey, and will hold on even in death. The captured prey is then consumed by the offspring over the course of several weeks.
