Alt-Fire Weapons [Resource]

Description
THIS IS NOT A REPLACEMENT OF DEFAULT WEAPONS! You need to obtain these weapons through other mods (like CWM) before trying to switch firing modes!

This is a resource pack containing 21 base weapons from HD and BFE games, but modified (utilizing Weapon Engine technology) to have an alternative firing mode.

Note: these are standalone weapons and are generally not affected by mods changing default weapons.

Use CWM or other weapon-obtaining mods to get these in game.

In order to switch modes, use "Switch firing modes" button, which you should bind yourself in the keybinding settings (not binded to anything by default);
Alternatively, if a weapon doesn't have any action on "Alternative fire" or "Reload" button, pressing these will also switch firing modes.

Alternative modes are the following:
BFE
  • Pistol - burst fire; fire three rounds in quick succession on one pull of a trigger;
  • Single Shotgun - berserk; fire quickly without cocking the shotgun but with significant spread and alightly lower damage;
  • Double Shotgun - sawed-off; fire 4 shells instead of 2 for 26 pellets in a randomized spread pattern;
  • Assault Rifle - burst fire; fire three rounds in quick succession on one pull of a trigger;
  • Minigun - gattling rockets; fire low-power fast rockets at a slower rate, consuming 4 ammo each;
  • Rocket Launcher - laser-guided rocket; fire high-powered laser-guided rocket, consuming 2 ammo;
  • Laser - energy beams; charge up 4 powerful beams, piercing all enemies at a limited range; consumes 20 ammo;
  • Sniper - bloodshot; shoot bursting bullet for lower damage, but an enemy explodes if killed by it;
  • Devastator - cluster grenade; shoot slower arcing grenade, which bounces off surfaces and exploding into 4 smaller ones if detonated using "Alternative Fire" button;
  • Cannon - artillery cannonball; shoot highly volatile cannonball exploding on first touch with anything, dealing massive explosion damage (don't kill yourself!);

HD
  • Colt - fan the hammer; fire all remaining rounds in clip at a high rate with great spread;
  • Single Shotgun - blade; fire singular precise blade traveling at high speed and dealing slightly lower damage;
  • Double Shotgun - sawed-off; fire 4 shells instead of 2 for 26 pellets in a randomized spread pattern;
  • Tommygun - burst fire; fire three rounds in quick succession on one pull of a trigger;
  • Minigun - gattling rockets; fire low-power fast rockets at a slower rate, consuming 8 ammo each;
  • Rocket Launcher - laser-guided rocket; fire high-powered laser-guided rocket, consuming 2 ammo;
  • Grenade Launcher - cluster grenade; shoot a cluster grenade, which explodes into 4 smaller ones if detonated using "Alternative Fire" button; normal grenade can be detonated too;
  • Flamethrower - napalm shot; fire a clot of napalm, which explodes into smaller pieces upon first contact; these smaller napalm pieces, in turn, create a burning area on the ground upon falling;
  • Laser - energy beams; charge up 4 powerful beams, piercing all enemies at a limited range; consumes 20 ammo;
  • Sniper - bloodshot; shoot bursting bullet for lower damage, but an enemy explodes if killed by it;
  • Cannon - artillery cannonball; shoot highly volatile cannonball exploding on first touch with anything, dealing massive explosion damage (don't kill yourself!);

Known issues:
  • Although these weapons *do* work in multiplayer, due to scripting nature, I imagine they could be less reliable than default systems at high latency and high player counts;
  • No VR support and not planned;
  • Sniper rifles do not deal reduced damage against biomechs and such; they alse have same scoped and unscoped damage and BFE Sniper is perfectly accurate while unscoped

всё круто, а можно еще по возможности добавить миниган в которого просто можно раскрутить ротор и держать, я думаю многих иногда бесит долгий старт )

Well then check again, and try re-subscribing to the mod.
It works for everyone else with these requirements, so either Steam downloaded it wrong, you are still missing something.
