They should work, it works for me, so there is probably a mod that overrides the armored rags or a mod that removes the original armored rags and replaces them with a copy, which wont be compatible with this mod. So try moving this mod to the bottom of the load order, if that doesn't work then its probably a mod to delete the OG and replace it with a copy. which wont work together. Although if the other defense bonus and everything else changed then it is another mod trying to modify the weather resistance, in which case the bottom of the load order would fix it.

acid resistance does not work

I feel like based on the armor description it shouldn't have a dexterity debuff because it says in the text "Allows good freedom of movement" and "Is favored by duelists," which I feel means it shouldn't impact dexterity negatively at all. imo if it wasn't for the weight, it should actually buff dexterity, not debuff it. Otherwise the text doesn't make sense.

i tried to change the weight back to 15 but no matter what i try it wont work

So what did you change? There isn't anything in the notes. Did you change the coverage stats?

The leather straps honestly should have 0 effect on defence in that area, i mean, think about it, there is NOTHING there but the straps, no leather armor no metal plates, nothing but air a sword or arrow could quite easily go BETWEEN the straps and pierce your abdomen and damage your stomach.

they have leather straps across the stomach, i liked the default 20% but my friend said 25% is more realistic, i take all the feeback i can get.

this armor doesn't cover the stomach at all. there a big gaping nothing where the stomach is. the chest should be covered by 50% not 95.
