Made Public again via request.

This mod is now Legacy and is no longer directly supported.

It still works but has been superceded by Wall_Expanded.mod (interim) and Buildings.mod (current - active WIP). It also may have some assets overlap with other mod overhauls like Kenshi Gensis etc which may cause instability.
This version still uses "building materials" as the main resource any reference to "dirt" is either a mod conflict or a precursor to the new system used by the other mods moving forward.

This mod provides another 'basic wall' variation which upgrades into basic wall and finally concrete wall. Research hooks into 'Makeshift Walls' and "Makeshift Tower" defence tech.

Wall uses the vanilla template with changed mesh and textures and upgrades into normal vanilla, any vanilla quirks with walls will still be present in this mod.

Adds a Small Shack variation, which can be used as a defensible hard point or upgraded to a normal Small shack. The shack has a lockable door, 3 light nodes and 6 turret nodes. Interior furniture can be placed. Build and tested [exp] 1.0.17 - 22
updated 1.0.34 - reworked and tested.
updated 1.0.45[exp] tested.

The wall has some vertical leaway for positioning on uneven terrain, user discretion required.

Wall features 1 light node and 1 turret node, these will be lost if one upgrades so recommend dismantling turret/light beforehand. The light node will not be available if linking to a non-sandbag wall piece.

Adds reskins of wooden interior wall divides, in sandbag form.
Adds building material storage small (15) and large (100) in sandbag theme.

Adds a "Lookout tower -Sandbag", working light nodes and turret nodes. The Tower can be sunk for better placement but submerging the doorframe may lead to issues.

Adds a Wall Tower. Once built walls sections can be threaded through it's struts allowing it to straddle low level walls and other obstacles. Make sure tower steps are touching the floor or submerged to maintain usable nav-mesh. Interior/Exterior furniture can be built on the raised platforms space permitting. 4 Light and 4 turret nodes

This mod may conflict with other mods that alter basic wall, concrete wall and gates, their textures or makeshift wall research.

Concrete texture may seam stretched on the inital build completion of wall pieces, this seams to resolve itself on the next load of the area.

Tested on 1.0.19, in low priority placement. Tested with Compressed Textures Project mod and Interior (Exterior) Design mod.
Tested on 1.0.34 with the addition of the Wall Tower.

Nvrmnd it was an error on my end, I had to fix the load order and then find it in the correct building slot. Awesome mod btw, I'm using it to make a military base for some Death Korps of Krieg/Warhammer mod characters.

Sure, use the other bits from buildings.mod too, specifically - manual dirt processor (filling the sandbags) and scrap storage and from Pavilion.mod the Pavilion Makeshift (sandbag pavilion) to round out the theme.

Can I do some work with this on Odyssey? I've got a few ideas now that the crash of doom issue has been fixed. These sandbags utilities would make a perfect addition into the Interactive World construction tree, creating a bit of an upgrade pathway from tents to buildings, perhaps.
