" The Azure Angel was a highly modified Delta-7 Aethersprite-class Starfighter that was piloted by Anakin Skywalker early in the Clone Wars. The starship was originally a standard Delta-7 fighter, but Anakin made multiple changes and heavy modifications to the starship, which he named out of his love for his recently wed wife, Senator Padmé Amidala. The ship's paint scheme - based on Skywalker's old pod racer - was eventually given to Jedi Master Plo Koon for his starfighter. "
