Description
!!WARNING!!
I no longer play CKII, nor have it installed on my computer. To that end, this mod will not be kept up to date by me. If the mod is no longer compatible with the latest patch, and someone wish's to take over the mod, please feel free, no permission is required

This is a collection of all my culture music mods put into one, with more songs thrown in.
What this mod does:

Cultural and Religious music
-Adds songs what will only play for certain cultures and religions. 99 songs have been added in total.
-Cultural music is 3x more likely to play than religious music.
-E.G. so if you are playing a Scottish Catholic, you will hear Celtic music and Christian music. If you convert to Norse pagan, you will hear Celtic music and Norse music. But regardless of religion, you are always more likely to hear Celtic music.
Peace and War
-You will now hear different songs during peacetime than you will than when at war.
-In general, wartime music is a little more aggressive. Peacetime a little more ambient.
Amended DLC and Vanilla music
-All DLC music will now play for specific cultures and religions and are also set to peace and war.
-Most Vanilla songs have been been silenced, but a select few will still play.
Balanced volume levels
-I have tried my hardest to set the volume levels on each song, but if you hear a song that is noticeably louder or quieter than others, please let me know and I will adjust it. It takes alot of playtesting to try and listen to every song that has been added.
The following cultures now have unique tracks
Altaic, Arabic/Iranian, Byzantine/Roman, Celtic, Central African/West African, Chinese/Tibetan/Khitan
English/Ango-Saxon, Indo-Aryan/Dravidian, Norse, Slavic.

FAQ
Q: Some of the songs don't really fit the culture/ I disagree with some of you're song choices.
A: Yes, I find it hard to find songs for certain cultures. I am open to suggestions though.

Q: Where is the tracklist?
A: Down in the discussions board below, its too long to put here.

Q: Is there a manual download link?
A: Yes, here.[drive.google.com] Note, that if you install manually, the mod will not auto update.

Q: What if I don't own the required DLC?
A: It's now confirmed that DLC is not required. If you do not own any of the listed DLC, the game will simply skip over those songs. However, this mod was designed around the DLC, so some cultures/religions may be a bit lacklustre without.

Q: Will this work with x music mod? ?
A: It should be compatible with all music mods, as long as they don't edit the base songs.txt file, or any of the musicdlc.txt files.

****DISCLAIMER****
I AM NOT THE COMPOSER AND DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO ANY OF THESE TRACKS.
THIS MOD IS NOT IN ANY WAY PROFITABLE.
I urge anyone who enjoyed the music in this mod to check out the Artists other works and show your support.

Problem: Vanilla music still plays in-game after new main theme.

That is probably a glitch due to Paradox editing the file structure a little. I am willing to bet with a little coding knowledge you could do it? But I am not confident. The mod creator will not be updating this mod himself. So take your best shot, and everyone will download it.

This mod for me plays all songs, not just culture based. I get norse, arabian songs when I play in byzantium as greek.

Glad I came here to complain about the title screen music being replaced; I didn't fully realize it removes vanilla tracks, which I saw the workaround for on the last page of comments. Also alerted me to another music mod replacing the title screen music (but keeping vanilla tracks).

Crisis averted!

Still, I oppose replacing/silencing vanilla music in music mods. Let that be up to the user; I'm sure almost all of us want MORE music for variety, not replacement of vanilla music.

LELELELELELELE Geraldo whenever war broke out in eastern europe, you should include the banana tiger track if it's not in already, 10/10 cultural immersion.

My sole wish is to get rid of the electric instrumental music tracks as they are jarring for the period of the game. All acoustic instruments of the period and voice...doesn't have to be period, but inspired by and hold to period typical music for the regions involved. I'm surprised the game devs didn't hit up some of the medieval fairs held by RP and recreation groups for this: they might not be the best performers, but they should hold up to period standards for performance.
