🚩 Road to Revived History: Extended Timeline Edition (1.32.*)

Description
Sick of portuguese Australia in the 1600s? Get annoyed of Spanish Cape Colony? Do you feel like the colonial growth is too consistent? Ever wanted to rule as new spain within its historical time period? Then this is THE mod for you!

Also great for roleplaying purposes! :D

Check out the original version for more screenshots, more will be up soon!

Features:
  • Historical colonization system (No Spanish Cape Colony, no scramble for Africa in 1600, no English Mexico etc. etc.)
  • Alt historical paths
  • Vanilla extended mission trees for key countries and their minors (see the list down below)
  • New game-changing events which will help steering the game! Even plenty for late game
  • New colonial regions
  • Super colonies to counter the amount of new colonial regions; bigger colonies will be formed whenever you own the required areas e.g. owning the east coast of the US creates the Thirteen Colonies
  • Historical events will more likely occur (to make the Dutch colonies and such more viable)
  • Even smaller colonies like New Sweden & New Netherlands
  • Decolonization during the 1800s
  • New trade companies
  • Other small adjustments like Prussian blue

Key countries:
  • Netherlands
  • Castile/Spain
  • England/Great Britian
  • France
  • Denmark
  • Portugal
  • Belgium
  • Savoy/Italy 🍕 AMO LA PIZZA!
  • Brandenburg/Prussia/Germany
  • United States
  • Austria
  • Russia
  • Japan

Extra info before playing:
  • You can find the orginal/regular version which does not require Extended Timeline here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1682833801
  • If a major country gets taken over the colonial system will try to and pass the colonial areas to the best possible country. For example if England gets taken over then Australia will most likely be colonized by the Netherlands (New Holland) historically. Sometimes this can even be a range of various countries.
  • Some colonial areas overlap, the first that takes it gets it.
  • You can turn colonial restrictions off early game in the decisions tab to gain more freedom. You can do this for the AI as well to fully customize to your liking :)
  • Almost all colonial settler claims do not last forever, most of them expire during the end game or earlier on.
  • Certain smaller colonies will form bigger colonies whenever you own the required areas e.g. owning the east coast of the US creates the Thirteen Colonies.
  • Colonial age restrictions are universal (apply to any country)

- Next updates will be focused on new events, expanding upon existing features and a lot of balancing including major changes and improvements on the entire system. -

Compatibility:
  • Extended Timeline is required
  • Idea variation works
  • New world colony names mod does work but you will have to remove the colonial regions folder which is located in /common. Be sure to remove the new world colony names mod's colonial regions folder, not from this mod
  • Missions Expanded works for most part however I don't recommend using it because the mission trees within this mod are optimalized to the features and required for the best experience. Furthermore you may want to copy paste the mission trees from ME to RtRH directory. As long as these do not replace existing trees then everything should be fine!
  • You can find the orginal/regular version which does not require Extended Timeline here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1682833801
  • Furthermore the Golden Century, Third Rome and Rule Britannia DLC are recommended but not required.
  • Ironman not supported obviously lol
  • If the mod doesn't download then use this: http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/

Final note:
Originally I made this mod for myself because I got super annoyed of the AI colonizing very illogical parts of the world thus I thought why not release it for public use.
A lot still has to be done thus this mod is far from perfect however my goal is to get the colonization to simulate to near historical accuracy, but not perfect furthermore it shouldn't restrict the player too much either or remove the fun factor so I have to find an excellent balance which is a huge task. If you guys have feedback you know where to put it. I'm open for new ideas and improvements :)
