1215AD - The Fall of Khwarezm

P1 - Kara Khitai Khaganate (Mongols)
P2 - Kingdom of Georgia (Magyars)
P3 - Ghurid Sultanate (Indians)
P4 - Zengid Emirate (Byzantines)
P5 - Abbasid Caliphate (Saracens)
P6 - Mongol Empire (Mongols)
P7 - Khwarezmid Empire (Persians)
P8 - Kingdom of Sindh (Indians)

This is a prebuilt diplomacy map, set during the Mongol Conquest of Persia, intended for multiplayer only. Locked teams should be off and resources should be set to standard, with visibility set to explored.
Players should make and break their alliances at their whims, leading to a dynamic and changing political landscape which is different every game.
Do you want to pursue an objective through war? Do you want to be a peaceful trading nation?
Do you just want to kill?
The choice is always yours to make.

Ride forth to do battle with the Mongol horde. Raiders reave and pillage across Persia, carrying the loot back to their revered leader - Genghis Khan.

Mangonels, Scorpions and Trebuchets are disabled. Aswell as this, all gunpowder units are disabled.
Camels are also disabled for P1/6
The Caravan tech is also disabled for all factions except P1
Across the map are 3 Mercenary Camps. Purchase the unit named on the camp by bringing a unit to the bonfire next to it.
Exceeding 40 warships or 30 towers will cause the units in excess to take damage repeatedly, until their number is reduced.
Castles can only be constructed within areas marked by grey torches, or else they will be immediately deleted. These marked areas represent cities, and will generate resources every 15 minutes for the player who controls them.
Each faction has a special unit they can recruit by garrisoning a unit at the Fortified Tower in their capital city. This unit and its cost is listed both on the name of the tower and in each factions 'Traits' section (see hints page)
Faction traits are listed on the 'Hints' page ingame. Not all of these abilities are positive, however....
Faction main objectives and sidequests are listed on the 'Scouts' page ingame

The winner is the first player to complete all of their faction-specific Objectives, which are listed on the scouts page. There is NO countdown! As soon as you complete all your main objectives, victory is immediate! Perhaps you can take advantage of the ubiquitous chaos brought by the Mongols relentless march, and fulfil your own goals while all others squabble?

This is my free time...! best grand map on here. I would love to see more faction specific perk ideas etc I love the sort of total war style of map building. ALSO, I am very interested in using this great map as a template for a Fall of the Sassanids diplo map if you would be open to sharing the amazing design? I have part of a map of my own done but I know I’ll never finish with my life the way it is rn. I wanted to replace with Herakleios’ expedition, Marzbans, Lazicans, Gokturks, Khazars Lakhmids and Sogdians. I think that would be another compelling setting. Thank you either way! This must have been a passion project!

its a great map very well designed, but its very laggy! doesn't stop the game but makes it very slow and not as enjoyable as it should be. this is the main issue i've found so far
