Advanced Sun Lamp [1.0]

Adds a new sun lamp that uses less power and provides light in a radius 3 times larger. Requires MultiAnalyzer research. You'll still need the roof supports to support the light radius, too :)

This one is modded a bit more to be balanced for 1.0 (ie: requiring components, more steel, more fragile, different graphic, etc.)


Q: Why does the display circle not match the actual affected radius?

A: Both of these use different algorithms to calculate. Even the Core SunLamp XML has a comment to this effect. Thus, it's impossible to get it perfect, so I got it as close as I can get it. The N/S/E/W edges are right, but a few points on the diagonals are slightly larger on the display than the actual.

Q: Could it be more fragile? It breaks when I breathe on it.

A: The fragility is to make it a bit balanced. After all, you're getting a sun lamp with a LOT less power and this huge radius, so it should be at least a little bit inconvenient when it breaks.

I wanted to add a small fire explosion on HP damage to make it more fragile, but the property conflicts with the power on/off scheduler. Ultimately, the scheduler won out, so be glad ya got that :)

Q: Wait, is this thing OP?

A: Yes and no. Combine this with Tilled Soil, and you probably won't have any food problems. But, you at least have to get to the point of researching this thing first.

Ultimately, I don't care. I just want to be able to grow a large garden in the winter and not require a frelling nuclear power plant to do so. I think that's fair.

Q: The graphic just looks like a big round circle.

A: That's because it is a big round circle. I'm not an artist. Best I can do on The GIMP. If somebody with better skill wants to donate an icon, I'll take it.

Q: I found a bug. How can I submit a fix?

A: I put this on GitHub here[github.com]. Just submit a PR.
