the first spacebar hit is bound to the decouple node of the docking ports, that separates the engines from the main craft. the 1 action group actuates a set of landing gear to push the engines upward into another docking port, then the thrust of the engines rotates them back into normal position. the hinge itself is 2 spherical RCS ports housed within 8 cubic octagonal struts, the spherical hitbox of the rcs ports allows the engines to rotate freely when decoupled from the craft.
