Captured City Less Death No Building Loss

Description
Version 2: Recycling Center now has a 100% capture rate just like most other buildings in the mod. The mechanism for preventing a player from having more than 5 Recycling Centers already makes it so the capture rate drops to 0% once you reach the quota.

I know this has been done before, but I just wanted to make my own version of this.

Citizen survival rate increased from 50% to 77% when capturing cities. This means when you capture a city it will be more productive in the long run, although in the short run the city will be in resistance longer, more unhappiness and more turns needed for razing the city. On the other hand, if you are the defending civilization, in the default game you would lose about 75% of your population if you recapture the city but with this mod population loss is about 41%.

(Why 77%? Because it's the approximate value of 1-(1/e)[1-(1/e)]... actually it doesn't really matter, any value above 70% and below 82% is good, because at 70% when the city is captured twice population loss is more than 50% which means the mod is not impactful enough, and at 82% when the city is captured twice population loss is less than 33% which I feel is not punishing enough.)

All buildings, with the exception of Courthouse (because a free Courthouse is unfair), Palace and National Wonders, will not be destroyed upon capture, while in the default game most buildings have either a 66% or a 0% chance of survival. Without the mod you would lose all your 0% survival buildings (Military buildings, Defense buildings, Monuments etc.) and about 56% of the rest when you recapture your city, but in this mod there will be no lost buildings excluding the aforementioned exceptions.

Does not require any DLC. Works with my other mods.

Download this mod from Google Drive [drive.google.com], and any other mod you want, and paste them in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS (I use windows, idk how it looks like in another OS). If that for whatever reason doesn't work, create another MODS folder within the first MODS folder and put it in there (inner MODS folder is for mod creators to separate their own work from other mods, that's where I took my mods from). Tell me if it works.

I don't recommend it because in the far future I may update my mods on Steam but forget to update the Google Drive version, so try to download it from Steam.

Do you have a version in another website? I subscribed but Steam is not downloading it.

Oooh, I think there should be another mechanic to this.

All military units have the option to "Demand Surrender" to enemy units and cities.

Like say there's this tough military unit that you will defeat inevitably, but it'll be costly, so you demand for it to surrender and you'll let them live. The unit will disband and either become a worker or return to their nation. Or join your side if you're Rome.

This would also be immensely useful when dealing with civilian units that are embarked, like your settler, or great person, or worker that's been captured by the barbarians, you demand surrender and POOF, the unit is yours!

This'll also happen when besieging cities, surround it with overwhelming force, and when it's inevitable that the city will fall, or if they're really scared, you can demand surrender, and only some of the buildings will be destroyed, depending on how much they resisted.

You mean for example having this mod only apply when you pick a certain policy in the Honor tree, or Honor finisher? Interesting idea, but then I'll have to make it so it's well balanced with the rest of the policy trees, which will be a difficult task. At that point I might as well overhaul the entire Social Policy system haha.

Hey...you think some of the benefits to city capture should be hidden behind the honor tree?
