This is Part 2 of the mod!

100+ Consoles Added to Game Dev Tycoon!

Want more variety in your game? This mod expands your experience by adding 100 consoles (even more with this part of the mod!).

Requirements, Recommendations & Compatibility:

  • Requires UltimateLib
  • Due to GDT's limitations, this mod is split into two parts. Subscribe to Part 1 to unlock 75 more consoles!
  • TAG mod overhauls the whole UI and makes the game look modern! Check it out!
  • It's compatible with almost every mod, but I wouldn't recommend adding another mod that also adds more consoles... or using a 10 year old mod for that matter.

📜 Update Log:
(2025-03-21)
- Remade units sold (yes again) im now satisfied!
- Fixed console and company names
- Other small fixes

(2025-03-15)
- Remade Units sold (Again) overall increesed the marketshare of most consoles
- Fixed better pictures for some consoles
- Other small fixes

(2025-03-13)
- Basically remade the whole mod and mod page.
- Resized all images to fit nicely.
- Fixed units sold numbers to be acurate with GDT's unit sold numbers (wich makes no sense).
- Fixed the name of Satellaview.

Color TV-Game

🛠️ How to Install:
1️⃣ Subscribe to this mod.
2️⃣ Subscribe to All The Consoles Mod [Part 1].
3️⃣ Subscribe to UltimateLib.
4️⃣ Enable all mods in the mod menu by clicking them (The built in API mod aswell).
5️⃣ Restart the game to activate the mods and enjoy!

📊 What It Took To Make This Mod
This graph represents the sheer insanity I went through to make sure every console had accurate release dates and sales numbers so it would make sense with the vanilla consoles.

Did I need to do this? Probably not.
Did I do it anyway? Absolutely... Now i can sleep Zzzz

yeah some consoles have been deleated bc of that. i Agree with the most consoles you list. its one of the things i would like to change in the future @Takashishiful

Can we get a version that excludes revisions of the same console? I would really like to have the 2600, GBC, GBA, 3DS, Vita, etc., but stuff like the GBA SP, Wii Mini, New 3DS or PS4 Pro just take up market share from their original versions and clutter up the platform list, don't they?

@FinalGamesDicas Bug is fixed! Along with the biggest update ever! The game starts in 1980 so Magnavox wont be added. I will look into the other ones tho!

bug notice: Xbox X series, png does not work

some new consoles:

NEC PC-9801, manufactured in 1982, sold over 18 million copies, it was a personal computer from Japan, if you can add the bullet hell genre and make it very popular on this console


Magnavox Odyssey 100, the first console in history, launched in 1972, worked with pong and sold a lot

Xbox Serie S, released on November 10, 2020 I don't see it in the mod or in the previous part

PS5 pro, it's a new console whether you like it or not

Apple Watch and Smart Watch, there are games on these digital watches so I think it could be fun, apart from the fact that they can't have big games.

@FinalGamesDicas Oculus Quest 2 had a bugged release date! Its fixed in the newest update!
