All transit section BP's have now been updated with ice-slopes (and improved fan layout) :steamhappy:

Sorry. They do not melt. I just catch fewer typos at 2 am.

Perhaps he meant the ice slope from the ice bundle block set? I'll ask next time I see him.

Ah, I thought you had found a magic bullet for the melt problem. yeah ice slopes do melt.

Ok 'LightGOC' gave me a fix: apparently Ice Slopes don't melt (just rotate them upsidedown)

oops! I built it in an ice biome and it's the first time I've tried building one of these things, I hadn't thought far-enough ahead, I'm not sure if there's a way to keep ice from melting, unless some of the blocks in ice-bundle set are slippy?
Although I have seen systems that use ladders + fans (I don't think that'll work for uphill sections)

The ice melts almost as fast as you place it in hotter biomes. Did you find a remedy for that?

welcome :)
You'll need to add a bunch of fans to any uphill sections (especially if using more than one upslope connected together) -it also helps to have a straight section just before it to build some extra speed.

I'll use it.
Thanks

Thanks,
yeah fans are seriously overpriced.
I kept the size down to 5 wide/6 high, so when building underground -excavators could be used to tunnel while leaving a walkable gap on each side for building :)
