(Blueprint) Federation Starfleet Galaxy Class (Galaxy 5.0-DLC) U.S.S. Proudmoore, NCC-108978

Description
The U.S.S. Proudmoore, NCC-108978 is a Galaxy Class starship of the 5th iteration out of my shipyards. The Proudmoore is, basically, a sclightly modified Amber Benson (which in turn was a HEAVY refit of the Amanda Tapping. As in: i took the Tapping and slowly overhauled every single part of the ship. I doubt there's more than 25 percent of the original blocks left, and that's me being generous).
The Galaxy 5.0 Project had two main goals:
1.) Improve upon the Galaxy 3.1 by pouring every bit of acquired knowledge into her construction in order to achieve a 1:1 scale Galaxy Class starship that will NOT, in fact, kill PCs
2.) Improve upon the Galaxy 3.1's general design to more closely resemble the canonical standard Galaxy Class space frame.

For more general details about the Galaxy 5.0 Project visit the Blueprint-Upload of the Proudmoore's sister ship, the U.S.S. Amber Benson, NCC-108978: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1594580260

In short, the Proudmoore is basically the Benson equipped with DLC blocks as well as a slight update with Ladders.
As you can see the new additions really drive the poor girl to the absolute limits of physical shapes available which is why the interior, sadly, remains rather bare bones. I DID manage to squeeze four crew quarter modules in; i was hoping for at least 10 of them but what can you do, 'tis how it is.

The highlights of this refit include:
o) A new Ready Room next to the Bridge
o) An overhaul of the social meeting room (called the BORALUS BAR on the Proudmoore)
o) Four modest Crew Quarter modules
o) Toilets! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finally, been holding it in since before Conveyors started conveying things...

I have also looked at LCD panels because i noticed that the recent update to their functionality seems to have FUBAR'd some of them; they SHOULD all be working fine now. Throw me a hint if they don't!

i do appreciate your efforts enormously sir. Unfortunately, however, you are right. Havok simply would not allow me to do with this ship what i would truly love to do, which would be turn it into a fully automated, self sufficient, mobile home base with fully connected and integrated systems. I *MIGHT* have a chance of doing that using only the banana hull model you posted but im afraid i will save that for a later date. Hopefully at some time in the near future Keen will revamp the configs, game code, and annoying limitations written into our wonderful game world in a way that will allow us to do what we wish with such massive starships at 1:1 scale. i could also turn said ship into a station, remove all mobility systems and then turn the ship into a stationary base, but that seems to be taking something away from the grandeur of the thing IMO. until then tho, i still plan on using a couple of your smaller designs in my world, im certain i can make them useful

Apparently i never updated the Blueprint with the finished product *facepalm* This World-Upload has it: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=501767620

Ma'am :P And yeah, the 5.0 series wasn't particularly meant to be Survival-friendly. Maybe the AMANDA TAPPING is more to your taste and needs: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=778987071

i was also looking through the blueprint and realized that i couldnt see any conveyor system installed yet either, which means with the shape limit already almost capped out, i would need to drastically reduce the ships flight capabilities, by maybe 70% and remove a lot of other things as well just to be able to install the massive number of refineries, assemblers, and cargo containers that i would want. i hate to say it sir, but i may have to simply build myself a miniature death star over your beautiful rendition of one of the most famous and popular federation starships of all time

Well, the problem isn't your rig, it's Space Engineer's engine. Specifically the Havoc-part of it. There's a "Physical Shape"-limit that this ship almost hits - the game usually starts throwing out warning messages when you're at about 99 percent of it. It does that because the ENGINE can't handle ships that are too complex.

my original plan is to copy the exterior exactly then simply add in whatever i need in the interior. i havent looked through the projection yet ingame but im fairly certain my computer can handle anything the game wants to throw at me. i play with a few friends on a server and we have some fairly impressive large builds and have very little lag, but at the same time my friend is running the server on a personal custom built server tower in his home

You're welcome, that's pretty much what i wanted to hear someone do :D Although if you intend to do a refit you may want to strip it of unnecessary interior first, the ship as-is is within a couple of blocks of SE's shape limit. Which basically means only adding to it will crash the game fairly quickly. Good news is she has oodles of (for Survival) unnecessary interior :)

OMG! I FOUND YOU! you have no idea how long ive been searching for a useable galaxy class 1:1 scale Blueprint. if my PC can run this thing i actually plan on turning it into my personal mobile base, so if theres space aboard im going to be adding refineries and assemblers into it with shuttlbays for my ships and OMG! i could go on forever, thankyou so much Rotal!!!!!!!!! :)
