The problem about the red signal at Westerfield is that the schedule cannot be fulfilled, due to the speed restriction of 15 mph at SPAD. In this way it is impossible to reach Westerfield at the right time.

There is only one chance - when and if the RSC correct the error in the route associated with the installation of a this traffic light. We hope and expect.

Well any chance of sorting the red signal that never changes at Westerfield on the return trip?? I had to run through it in the end to get back. Route was already set with nothing coming the other way.

On this branch operate these freight trains. Of course one would find such a period of time (and there are actually a lot, because freight trains are rarely) when a player nothing would not have met along the way. But you will agree that to go on a completely empty branch would not be so interesting.

A branch would be empty because other commuter trains do not go there. There is physically only one train that circulates all day on this route from Ipswich to Felixstowe and back.
