Colossal Hillside by Owl Mass Transit Remake

Description
Original Map by Owl, all credit for this piece of Art goes to him!

What is new?

Both highways are now connected. The railline on the eastern side of the map is now travelling down a much smother slope along the hillside, which seemed a bit more realistic. A part of the highway and rail outside of the 25 tiles have been put under ground for the same reason. An additional Shipline has been added as well as oil along the shoreline.

The start tile has also been moved.

This Map is meant to be played with 25 tiles in mind, everything else can hardly be used to build on.

I am using Photorealistic Map theme by Reaper :

in combination with Daylight Classic and the Satellite Lut

I tried to replace the trees (all vanilla) using PropItUp but couldnt figure out how to do so in the Map Editor. Once you start a new game you will be able to do so of course.

I hope you enjoy :-)

changed the two mentioned exits, should be wide enough for anyone to enjoy

hey ikon, thank you :-) you can use a number of tools like the move it mod or parallel road tool to expand on this network. but you are right, for a vanilla player it is going to be hard to get a smooth connection if any at all. i am using fine road tool and anarchy for and the above mentioned for all my infrastructre.

One thing to note - the two highways going opposite directions are way too close too each other in 2 of the 3 starter interchanges, which makes it difficult to extend the roads into a potential city. Other than that, this is a well done remake
