down because the Imperial Tie Fighter pilots that flew them
never knew what they were doing

in the movies, too...they don't have energy shields.

i think the ship should have more HP cuz when a small prop it it it blew up

No. Just delete the addon in your addons folder. It will be downloaded automaticaly by steam.

It seems that steam didn't download the model. I would suggest you redownload.

i found something in the console :Model missing: models/181st/181st.mdl
LFS: missing model. Plane terminated.

Can you look for errors in the console when you launch? That should give us some clues as to why ti wont work.
