I'm sure when they beat Andy Ngo to the point that he went to the hospital, they meant well. Or when they assault people with milkshakes. Or when they bash in skulls with bike locks. Or splitting skulls. They love that. What about when they surround old people with walkers and prevent them from moving while hurling abuse on them? I'd argue they are even more violent in Europe.

Rhonin, I was not trying to discount your experience against ISIL. I am very sorry that you had to encounter such trauma and I hope that your family is okay.

My point is that the USA has domestic terror networks as well, though they are not physically an existensial threat like ISIL. If we don't destroy Antifa in America soon, though, they'll become the next Weather Underground.

@turtleshroom i'm not familiar with any of those groups, but you do have to put things in context and not just look at a definition. By that definition, the US government is a terror organization . The Black panthers, NAACP, SCLC would have been considered terrorism groups, because they used threats to existing causes/way of life to achieve a just cause. The American revolutionists were a terror group, as was the confederacy. The goal of terrorism is to cause the intimidation itself and instill terror and fear and not just to achieve a political goal
