Description
The map contains lots of detailing from edge to edge, great for cinematics. 600K trees, thousands of hand-placed props and trees. Due to the level of detail, this map is obviously a bit heavy to run so low end systems might struggle. 81/25 tiles recommended.

----------READ THE DESCRIPTION---------

Now, first up this map needs a tiny tweak. [just 5 clicks]
For whatever reason the map editor is flawed and it sinks the placed props into the ground just a tad bit, causing some visibility issues when gazing at low angles in game.

TO FIX THIS YOU NEED TO ALIGN PROPS TO TERRAIN HEIGHT. (Move It!)
If you're unaware how to do this, here's a guide: How to align props to terrain height

NOTE: if you know a solution to prevent this prop bug in the map editor, please leave a comment and I'll fix it.

FIGURED IT OUT: If you're using prop snapping, make sure to DISABLE [allow prop to submerge] option. Otherwise the props will sink into the ground and cause issues. This is required only the first time when you start a city.

Screenshot settings:
Owl's Cinematic LUT Pack (Cinematic v2) - I do recommend using Cinematic v1 for actual gameplay though, it's a bit easier on the eyes long term.
Clouds and fog toggler, disable all except distance fog.
NO daylight classic.
Ultimate level of detail (prop LOD distance 5000m).

Easy one-click collection for all the required items here.

Should you have any questions post them down in the comments section and I will do my best to answer them.
Leave a like if you like the map, leave a dislike if you hate it. Have a great day.

!REGARDING PERFORMANCE!
To give you a perspective of what this map really requires:
I can run it 40-70fps with maybe around 40 mods, a couple hundred assets active, depending on the graphics settings. It's not a bad performer considering that I'm running a potato:
i7-2600K
GTX 780 3GB vram
8GB ddr3 1600MHz ram

So, considering if you aren't running an 8 year old system like mine, you'll be fine with this map.

I've been looking for a map that does wetland areas realistically. Thanks, I'll try this soon.

Hi BonBonB :lunar2019smilingpig: Watched the video, thank you for all your kind words :)
I actually have a nearly finished map which I made way back last summer, it just never made it to the final touches phase due to lack of time and thus I never uploaded it. I might just share it in the near future so it won't be left in the dark forever.
Happy holidays to you too BBB and to anyone else reading this as well! :lunar2019piginablanket:

Hey Ihme.... just to say... don't miss the Christmas Day special. Your map will be making one more appearance :-)

Naturally, do the family thing. The video will be staying up so you can catch up any time during the holidays.

Nice! Would be interesting to see your city if you end up building on this map :)

Yeah, I watched it as I watch most of BonBonB's videos anyway :lunar2019grinningpig: Thanks for the feedback, encourages to keep on sharing my work. This map I worked on pretty long so it's a shame it didn't get more eyes to see it. Oh well.

Hi Ihme: your map was reviewed in What Map by BonBonB on Youtube:

Every viewer can vote for this map - and if you are quick (before the end of 31 May) you can get this map very high in the Viewers' Choice of May.

I think you made a really beautiful map. Probably the best map I have seen in 2019 so far.

This is a true work of art. I will need to upgrade my RAM from 32 to 64 GB, but it is a beauty. Nicely done.
