MAD-CAT® - MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION - CANNOT ACCIDENTALLY TRIGGER

Description
The MAD-CAT® prevents accidental launching of the nukes. We don't want to start a nuclear war unless we really have to, now do we?

It's actually a really simple puzzle that I put together to get familiar with building custom puzzles.
The board's shape is supposed to roughly resemble a modular PCB designed to slot into board-to-board connectors.
I intentionally made the board relatively large in order to leave room for more creative solutions - like I said the puzzle is rather simple and the most efficient solution requires hardly any board space at all. But if you're looking for the occasional chance to go crazy with modules, elaborate contraptions or finally put that PGA33X6 to use, have fun!
  • MCCC (Missile Combat Crew Commander) is a simple input connected to a keyswitch.
  • DMCCC (Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander) is a simple input connected to a keyswitch.
  • LAUNCH is a simple input connected to a big red pushbutton.
  • ARMED is a simple output connected to a red indicator light.
  • SAFE is a simple output connected to a green indicator light.
  • IGNITION is a simple output connected to a nuclear missile.

  • On startup MAD-CAT® should be SAFE and LAUNCH ignored.
  • Only while MCCC and DMCCC are both active should MAD-CAT® be ARMED.
  • Only while MAD-CAT® is ARMED should LAUNCH result in a signal to IGNITION.

  • This is the truth table for a properly operating MAD-CAT®:
