An old map that i made not long ago, now it's all fixed up and actually up to date with my current standards


Interview date 2033/11/5


'The old factory? Yeah, I know about it.'

'What happened?'

'The place went out of business. The public and government said it was 'too dangerous' to harbour all the magma and molten rock in a place like that...'

'Were you a worker there?'

'Yeah. I got close to the management department before I was asked to leave. They said I was of no use... I DID what they asked me to do. I kept a watch over the molten pot in the centre of the factory up in the watch towers. I was so confused.'

'And what happened after that?'

'Rumours from my co-workers at the factory spread to me. Said that more and more employees were being kicked out every day. Aparrently, I was the first of many. The managers were starting to get calls from the local police and council. They said that the whole place was unethical, and was to be shut down imediately.'

'So... Instead of shutting the place down all at once... Employees were gradually booted from the factory, correct?'

'Yep. They were crazy. Didn't really make a difference. Then a few months later, the news broadcasted that the place had been dumped. Investigators went in one day and found no one there. The managers disappeared without a trace. The factory wasn't even fully shut down until 6-7 months after.'

'What happened in those 6 months...?'

'Aparrently, the military arrived shortly after the workers left. Nobody knows what they wanted to visit the old place for, seemed like a damn family day out to some of them. But, there was a theory.'

'Theory?'

'Some speculated that the military used the factory as a testing ground, like a sort of practice area for battles and such. But, it is unheard of that this is true. Nobody will ever know what truly did happen in that quarr- factory, I mean.'

'Quarry. Magma... Lava...Quarry... Magma Quarry!'

'That is what we will call this place, and the legend that it holds, then!'
