Description
CLIMB MOUNT NARODNAIA
This series of scenarios is meant to simulate a Soviet invasion of Japan, after a joint Japanese-Korean-American fleet exercise is seen by the Soviets as a preparation for an attack against the motherland. These scenarios are not meant to be overly realistic, but instead are designed to mirror a campaign by the same name in Wargame: Red Dragon, with a few twists, edits, and additional content to make the missions more enjoyable and challenging. Have fun!

Kyushu is now the last remaining free island of sovereign Japan, and the Soviets have established a beachhead. All hopes for a Japanese victory have mostly gone out the window at this point, but American and Japanese leaders have come together to try and save the remaining Japanese people from suffering under the heavy steel boot of the USSR. After Kuznestov's costly but successful maneuver, the reinforcement track from Okinawa to Kyushu has been completely cut off for the time being. In doing so, however, the Soviets have gambled that they'll be able to keep their carrier afloat and capture the rest of Kyushu by the time the American carrier force arrives. It is imperative for the Americans that this does not happen.
Even though Kyushu is cut off, several American reinforcements have made land fall in Kyushu and are ready to do battle. It is at this time that their forces will be the strongest, and so a risky plan has been made; the Americans and Japanese will strike back against the Soviet forces in Kyushu with all the strength they can muster, in hopes of driving the invaders into the sea. This gamble will hopefully push the Soviets to the negotiating table, and a deal can be made to spare Kyushu and the remaining Japanese for the time being. Following these events, the Americans will be able to fortify their positions here and throughout the world, and a now weakened and battle-weary Soviet Union will be on the defensive.
For the Reds, the clock is ticking as every day of conflict weakens their offensive and defensive capabilities. A loss here would have catastrophic consequences throughout the Union, and Soviet leadership has vowed to defend their land to the last man...

ACT TEN: CORNERED
- This is a fast paced, ground combat-oriented scenario. At just 3 and a half hours of duration, it is also the shortest of the series so far.
- Several of Wargame's battles didn’t play out too differently from this one, with your ground units holding a piece of land and holding against waves of Japanese and American vehicles. Keep your men alive if possible, and quickly move your air units to where they need to be. Just a few mistakes will surely mean defeat.
