Description

Jim Cornette got his start in the 80's in the Continental Wrestling Association, and moved on to work for Mid-South, WCCW, and Jim Crockett Promotions, before signing with WWF in 1993. He founded Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1991, and operated it until 1995.

Cornette managed numerous talents over the years, and often came to the ring holding his signature weapon, the tennis racket.

After leaving WWE, Cornette has appeared as a manager, authority figure, or announcer in TNA, ROH, OVW, and MLW.
