Description
This patch is intended to fix the strange tourist behavior at outside road connections, as detailed here:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/255710/discussions/0/1812044473319307940/

Source code here: https://github.com/chronofanz/CrazyTouristFix

Details on the bug:

Normally, a driver in a vehicle arrives at the destination, the driver's exit location is offset from the vehicle's location. I think this offset value is customized based on the vehicle model. Then, the game asks the PathManager to compute another route between the citizen and the destination - if this succeeds, then off the citizen goes. If it fails, then the citizen never spawns from the vehicle.

This behavior also happens at ALL outside connections. Most outside connections are one way out, however, and also these outside connections have no sidewalk either. So when arriving at the outside connection, the citizen's start location is offset from the vehicle, then the PathManager is queried for a route, that FAILS (because the road segment is one-way or there's no sidewalk or whatever), and then the citizen then goes away.

But guess what happens at an outside connection that is at a TWO WAY road segment? :) Aha, the PathManager CAN compute a valid route for the citizen to the outside connection again, and it happens to be the crazy U-turn route. That's the bug.

After my repeated tests, I confirmed the problem.

1. As soon as you use a two-way road to connect the edges, crazy U-turns will occur;
2. If you use a one-way road to connect the edge, there will be no large number of U-turn vehicles, even if you use a two-way road to connect the one-way road at the edge;
3. Enabling/disabling mods does not change this situation, so mods should no longer work.

Note: I can't guarantee that your situation is the same as mine. If there are any differences,welcome to discuss together. @rv

@rv Oddly enough, the crazy U-turn disappeared when I re-subscribed to the mod, so at the moment I'm not quite sure if there really are some issues with it, so I'd advise people who'd better subscribe to it to test it out for themselves.
One thing I can say for sure is that this mod will not cause errors in the game.

@Delta 5-1 In the latest version (1.81.1-f3) it does not work, and vehicles passing through the city will still make a U-turn at the nearest location of the two-way road and one-way road connection.

I've tested this mod quite a bit, as I was looking to fix the same issue (then I found someone has already done it). Works perfectly with the latest version of the game, and a must for anyone playing with two-way roads as outside connections.

Im having a problem (not related to the mod) where tourists only visit the city to use the public transport to leave the city. They clog up the the parking spots. Up to 1,000 cims do this.

Is a Cities: Skylines 1.16.0-f3 update coming for this mod?

After the last update, the mod stop to function. The tourists simply get off the attracions and drive around the block again to the same attraction. After some minutes, there's a traffic jam around the block of the attraction
