Order of the Shaolin Monks

You feel the warm desert breeze as you walk, the hot sand beating on your feet, but your mind is serene, ever patient and clear. This comes from years of meditation in Zen Buddhism, it's like you slow time down, hyper concentrate and quickly resolve the problem. These skills and the art of the Shaolin Kung Fu, was passed down through the generations. As the world grew more and more hostile less and less monks survived. Today the arts of the Shaolin are considered dead, there is nothing in writing that survived accounting the beautiful arts of the Shaolin.

You are the last of the Shaolin monks, you have practiced the knowledge given to you by your father in secrete, because if authorities would find out that this art is still being practiced it would mean a threat to their livelyhood.

There is a special place that you heard of from travelers. A city called The Hub, it's in complete independence from the factions. There, all of the world's criminals, escaped slaves, the black market merchants and bandits gather around.

Maybe there you can bring the Shaolin back to it's glory days. You want to set up a temple and take in students to train them in the ancient arts. You want to have scribes again to write down history and the secretes of the arts. You want to create an army of monks that way if the factions want to erase you from the land you can stand and fight.

But The Hub is so far from where you are. After your mother died in a raid by bandits in Clown Steady, your father left to live out his days at the ends of the world. There he taught you, and in secrete you became a master of the Shaolin Kung Fu. Now your father has died, he told you once about his dream to restore the Shaolin. So it's up to you now.

The Kung Fu Master is very fast, very strong and a master martial artist as well as versitile when it comes to using weapons, but he is vulnerable to large groups. Travel to The Hub and set up a temple, recruit students and teach them the ancient arts of the Shaolin Kung Fu.
