Better Orbital Bombardment 2.2.7 - FGRaptor

This is for use as a backup if you did not update Stellaris.



Orbital Bombardment is painfully slow, even though dozens of ships are dropping nukes on planets... gotta go faster!

This buffs all bombardment stances and also gives you some values in the description to actually compare them, instead of vague text like "Light" or "Moderate" damage.

What does this buff look like? For example, the daily devastation from Armageddon Bombardment in vanilla is 0.08%, with this mod it is 0.34%!

- Bombardment Descriptions now show damage percentages so you can compare them

Selective Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 50% to 150%
- Army damage increased from 100% to 150%

Indiscriminate Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 100% to 300%
- Army damage increased from 150% to 200%
- Pop kill chance increased from 50% to 150%

Armageddon Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 150% to 600%
- Army damage increased from 200% to 400%
- Pop kill chance increased from 100% to 300%

Raiding Bombardment
- Planet damage increased from 100% to 300% (to get to abducting pops faster, the game unfortunately only abducts them with enough damage, which makes no sense)
- Pop kill chance reduced from 100% to 50%

Should be save to install and remove during running games (I had no problems so far).

Should be compatible with anything as it does not modify vanilla files, but it does overwrite all current bombardment stances.
So anything that modifies bombardment policies might clash with this.

It also overwrites the following localisation strings (English):

bombardment_raiding_desc
