The last game update was over a year ago. And it looks suspiciously like the devs have abandoned the game to it's current state, so I doubt you'd have to worry about future game updates breaking mods again.

Wise words from a crazy old drunk. I miss him. We lost him last year. Literally. In the supermarket. After a long search that lasted minutes, we were forced to give up our search as we were close to finding him. If you see him, DON'T mention me or give him hooch money. It's for the best.
