Lost2Ork - OPEN BETA

Description
+++++ READ FIRST BEFORE DOWNLOADING +++++

This is Beta Public version of the 40K Orks mod , it’s a full Fan mod to 40K universe and it replaces Lost faction with new Ork units there are multiple Ork unit types and its not full yet done . You don’t need other 40K mods if you want to play.
Things that are worked on so the mod will be fully done include:
- Setting up map Metinee in the UDK so the right POD animation for units are played on encounters(you can disable action cam if you don’t want to bit janky animations for Orks)
Adding Squigs , Morkoaut and some other special mini bosses.
FX and sound polish
More animation polish for some units

The main reason for open BETA is so we get playtesting and see how it performs . Please add comments about what you like , dislike or what you might like to see added to the Ork mod.Also if you add in an imgur screenshot of the problematic things you see in the comments that wood help out a lot.

About POD animations @E4532 advised me about where i can find the matinee but it will take some time to set it up i don’t know about map modding and its the biggest priority for me to learn so the beta mod can be completed fully.
POD matinee are done that the last thing missing from the having a full package experience that we are aiming for.

-Quick notes about the Orks base model meshes are from Regiside game , Grechin base model mesh is from blood bowl 2, Deffdreads base model meshes are from DOW3 some of the weapon bits are from Eternal Crusade game for Deffguns. Chef did the textures for Shoota rifle and Burna flametrower.
These models only got me the 40% i had to adjust UV , redo and make new textures for Xcom PBR materials. As well make new rigs with animations for Xcom.

I will not be going in the unit stat details in this text but as we complete the mod you will see them in the patch notes.

Thanks for waiting 8 months at this point for Orks mod but i hope its a worth the wait Me and Roland wanted to make something special and that took time and figuring out a bunch of things to fall in to place and time to implement it . I wlll make videos going over how to make full coustom new units after beta so if you want to make your own new enemy units you will have a starting point.
And id like to thank first @Roland for taking the time from his mods to work on the Orks code. @ZoranThe Bear for starting this madenss with Imperial Guard mod and for doing live playtesting the alpha mod versions tho it might broke and @Musashi for Motion Builder pointers. @Chef for doing texture work on Shoota's weapon and Burna's flametrower
Also a quick shoout out to @09William for the sound files and some meshes i was not able to find online.

The assets used here orignated from Warhammer 40,000: Regiside and Warhammer Blood Bowl 2 , All assets belongs to Hammerfall Publishing , Focus Home Interactive and Warhammer 40,000 is rightfuly owned by Games Workshop. The assets here are for non-commerical uses and Im not earning anything from this mod.

Is there a way to change the orks spawn rate and location?, I would like it if they won't spawn every turn 5 tiles away from my squad

@Six This mod is supposed to override any losts (except stuff like The Bio Division's losts whch are their own thing) and replace them with orks. Make sure you have no other Lost overhaul mods such as World War Z

Haven’t determined if they consistently spawn with Lost Sitreps. (Did for a retaliation mission, but didn’t show up in a city).

@Wrath, Check if you have any other lost overhaul mods such as World War L, it's the likely culprit who's overriding the orks.

I was very sad, 20 hours into my legendary playthrough, first encourter with the lost, and I ve seen no orks, just regular losts.. I probably have a conflict between mods as Im running 400mods, so, I ll have to dive into my modlist to see whats going on, but still.. over 1GB in this mod and no changes to my game. pretty aznnoying lol, but thats probably my fault, Im still very excited to use this mod we'll see..
This is really amazing work, I've been playing and my friend just started using this mod and its really class A work. I don't know how you got the custom units in but it changes the game. I know its been years, but Im curious why progress stalled? last I saw as on Trello around 2022

@Velkarie if you struggle with them then I recommend you install Iridar's molotov cocktail mod, it adds a weak incendiary grenade that doesn't alert the lost which can help you overcome these guys in the early game.

It's cool, but the balance is real bad, if you could figure a way to make the warboss and other harder enemies spawn in later missions then it would be fine
