Description
A Multi-Function Display that can be used on almost any aircraft, that includes graphical and text displays of various data from your aircraft. Included are several micro-controllers, most of which are dedicated to encoding the large number of inputs into a composite signal, and one that creates a video output to display the information. One video output must be connected to a 1x1 display to select which screen on the MFD to show, and the other video output must go to at least a 2x2 display, and will automatically scale up to larger displays, to display the data. For full setup instructions including customization options, see the discussion here.

Features
The 1x1 selector screen will display 5 buttons for each of the different displays on the MFD.
  • ENG - Engine - displays data about the engines on your aircraft
  • PWR - Electrical - displays data about the electrical systems on your aircraft
  • APU - Auxiliary Power Unit - displays data about the APU engine and generator
  • FUL - Fuel - displays data from the fuel system
  • LDG - Landing Gear - displays data from any installed landing gear locks
Engine Display
The main screen of this page displays the RPS and temperature of each engine in graphical format. Selecting any of the engines on this screen will display a detailed view of that engine, which includes the RPS in text and graphical format, the temperature in text and graphical format, the throttle setting, as well as an indication for both the starter and reverser if installed.
Electrical Display
The main screen for the electrical system will display the output of each of your connected generators, as well as the charge level of two separate battery systems, a main battery and standby battery, in text and graphical format. Selecting either battery will display a detailed view of that battery, including charge level in text and graphical format, as well as the charge rate and the amount of time until that battery is either charged or drained.
Auxiliary Power Unit Display
If your aircraft has an APU installed, this screen will display all the same information for your APU as the detailed engine screen, minus the reverser indication. In addition, this screen will also display the output of any generators connected to your APU.
Fuel Display
The main screen for this display will show the total fuel contained in two wing tanks, a center tank, and auxiliary tank, as well as a total fuel value at the top. Selecting any one of these fuel values will display a detailed view of that fuel tank, which includes the percentage fill in text and graphical format, total fuel in that tank in gallons or liters, amount of fuel burned per minute, time it will take to empty the tank, and how far your aircraft can fly based on your current speed and fuel burn.
Landing Gear Position Indicators
This is the simplest display on the MFD which contains only three indicators, one for a nose or tail gear, and two for the main gear. This page is entirely optional, since designing a gear lock system to output an on/off signal when locked up or down may be difficult, but if locked up, the indicators will turn black, if they are locked down the indicators will turn green, and if they are not locked in either position they will turn red.

Reposting:
You may use this MFD in any of your vehicles and post it on the workshop, and credit for the MFD would be greatly appreciated. You may also modify the code and logic to suit your needs and post it as your own MFD as long as you link to here in the description. Other than that, I ask that you please do not repost this MFD unless you are using it in a vehicle or have modified it in some way.

Something along those lines is in my plans if I'm ever able to get back to this.

Oh sorry I removed this module from the helicopter entirely, I may be able to try again later today.

Can you upload a vehicle with the bugged display? I'd like to see what it's doing.

The engine display page isn't displaying properly for me. I only see the corner of it in my top left part the monitor, both 2x2 and I tried on a 5x3.

You will need a separate jet controller, this display only monitors your aircraft, it does not have any controls.

hey, um. will i also need a jet controler so the engines dont blow up? or is that already built in
