CLIMB MOUNT NARODNAIA

The Soviet Union is reinforcing its naval position in Japan by sending a Kirov- class battlecruiser, Frunze, to reinforce task force Minsk. Such a ship would prove to be a huge asset for the Soviets and a thorn in the side of American and Japanese commanders. What the Soviets don't know, however, is that a hole in their ASW defenses has allowed a lone Sturgeon- class submarine to quickly and quietly slip into the Sea of Japan. Behind enemy lines and with the element of surprise, the officers and sailors aboard USS Pargo have the unique opportunity to deliver a heavy blow to the reds and significantly decrease Soviet naval presence in the theatre. Maybe if they're lucky, they'll even live to tell the tale...
