Alloy Ambition

Description
=== I pretty much stopped playing Stellaris because nothing feels fun anymore. The mod won't be further updated, but if you want to use the file to have the permission to do so. It'd be great if you add this mod in your credits. ===

Have you ever wondered why Paradox makes production buffs for energy, mineral, as even food as edicts/ambitions but the most important resource, alloy, does not get a bonus from anywhere? Well I had, and so this mod is created to solve that.

As shown in the picture, this mod adds an ambition that gives you a 25% monthly alloy production bonus.

To unlock this ambition you will need TWO technologies: Ascension Theories (the one that also unlocks other ambitions) AND Megastructure Engineering. You will need to spend unity to activate this ambition.

Please also notice that this mod may be poorly balanced in comparison to the existing ambitions, but imo anything less than 25% would just be too small of a bonus.

AI might also use this. It has the same weight as Omnifarious Acquisition (+33% monthly minerals) to be chosen by an AI empire.

Compatibility: should be compatible with pretty much everything, since there was no overwrite.

Wait you don't use gold, silver, or iron to make your robots? Are you making steel golems with magic?

I was just asking.

Its my idea on how to nerf machine empires since their so OP. Furthermore, I'm not sure precisely what planet you come from, but here on Earth we make our robots out of steel and other alloys, not gold, iron, silver, or bronze. I'm just saying...

I don't see a point of using alloys to build robots tbh. It wouldn't be a big change, and it doesn't quite make sense considering that alloy is used to build ships/stations/megastructures and all. plus it would add more to micromanagement since alloy is an advanced resource.

Instead of minerals I mean.

Hey. Any chance you could create a mod that makes the "Replicator" jobs in machine empires cost alloys in upkeep?

I wouldn't know, so I make the question disappear by creating this mod as the solution
XD
