Description
[Vanilla|Survival Ready|Subgrids]

A simple placeable large-grid turret with 3 rocket launchers.

It is set up to work with Whips Turret AI slaving script.
You can also use it with other scripts, but have to do the setup (naming etc.) yourself.
The Diamond Dome Defense script doesn't support rocket launcher turrets yet.

It is fully conveyored through the rotors.
To make the rockets fire sequenced like in the video, you just have to load
Whips Weapon Salvo script into a programmable block, but it is completely optional.


How to use:
1.-Place turret on your ship
2.-Build some blocks around the azimuth rotor
3.-Place a AI turret (interior turret is fine) next to it on your ship and name-tag it "Designator"
4.-Include the Designator turrets into "Turret Group X"
5.-Rename both Groups: Turret Group & Salvo Group (change X to 1,2,3 etc.)
-Repeat step 1-5 for every turret you place (as many as you want)
-Place programmable block and load Whips Turret AI slaving script
Optional:
-If you want the rockets to be sequenced (like in the video),
place another prog block and load Whips Weapon Salvo script


Some stats:
-Blocks: 50
-PCU: 2873
-Mass: 16,5 t
-Light armor
-Max-Angle: 5° - 55° Up


Troubleshoot
Can't place blocks around it?
-try turning it around by increasing the velocity of the azimuth rotor
-increase the offset of the azimuth rotor
Still doesn't work?
-remove turret (except azimuth rotor)
-place your blocks around it
-paste another turret into an empty space and remove azimuth rotor (not the rotor-head)
-copy/paste second turret over azimuth rotor base and attach
-you might have to push it into it a bit
Doesn't shoot?
-make sure you have at least one designator turret in the same group name tagged "Designator"
-Are there any blocks in the way? The script will prevent friendly fire.

I'm pretty sure you forgot to rename the groups. Whips script can only handle one turret per group, so you need 2 Groups with each both rotors and the designators in them.

This turret is verry good, thank you for your design.
However, does it work for muti rocket tutret?
I have tried set up 2 turret on my ship following the steps.
It is interesting that one of the turret works well while the other don't
The elevation rotor and launchers of the second turret works normally, however the horizontal rotor just doesn't work.
Have you encountered this problem before?
