Forest Island Assault

Description
"Forest Island is an island off the coast of the Eagle mainland, and is one of their oldest oceanic territories. However, as the conflict escalates between Eagle and Raven, the island has received less attention as Eagle shifts its focus to other parts of the world.

Meanwhile, Raven has taken notice of the islands lightened security. Seeing as the island is so close to the mainland, they've sent a small army of troops in an attempt to gain a foothold in Eagle territory."

Welp, Here it is! My first map for Ravenfield. I've worked on it over the past few days, and in that amount of time, it has changed quite a lot. At first, it started out pretty flat and boring. So, I pretty much completely scrapped the original idea for the map and went with a more varied version, with Mountains, Valleys, and Beaches. The map is inspired by conflicts such as the Vietnam War, Rhodesia, and the Slavic Conflicts of the 90's.

"What does the map have to offer?" You may be asking yourself. Well, in its current state, the map features a Helicopter for Eagle, a Tank for each team, and a small assortment of transport so you can get around quicker. There are 5 capture points that encourage some pretty large and long ranged battles. The helicopter will prove useful in protecting your troops and allowing them to move in on objectives. Just watch out for anti air!

Recommended Troop Count: 100

Recommended Game Mode(s): Point Match/Battalions

Known Issues: Performance drops in some parts of the map, but with mainly depends on your machine. My PC is relatively mid tier, and the performance drop is pretty minor, so it shouldn't be unplayable.

Final Notes: This map is still not 100% finished, so you may notice things that aren't quite right. If you do, please let me know as constructive criticism is highly encouraged! I want players to be able to enjoy the map as much as possible. Have fun and thanks for playing!

@Koopanique Sort of. You can hold down shift to keep placing a prop, and it makes it much easier than ctrl-v. The smaller trees, however, were scaled down and I just copied and repeated the above method. It was tedious to an extent, but I think it turned out alright in spite of that lol

Impressive, so you just ctrl-v the trees all the way? And adjusted their height manually for each of them?

@Koopanique Yeah, there were originally way more but it hit performance pretty hard, so I deleted a lot of them.

Hi! Did you place all the trees one by one?
