Hardcore Holly

After starting wrestling in the late 80's, Hardcore Holly had a successful in-ring career that spanned over 20 years.

Holly worked for some NWA territories early on, then bounced around working for WCW, WWF, and Smoky Mountain Wrestling before catching on with WWF in 1994 as NASCAR driver-turned wrestler Thurman "Sparky" Plugg. The gimmick evolved into Bob "Spark Plug" Holly, and eventually Hardcore Holly during the Attitude Era.

Holly was regarded as one of the toughest wrestlers on roster during his WWF/WWE run. He held the Hardcore Championship 6 times, and held tag team titles on 3 occasions, each with a different partner.

Holly is mostly retired as a wrestler, but still makes occasional appearances as of June 2019.
