Let's be honest - who likes to be a logistician?
Who would like to do the same things for hours? It is more interesting to fight because something is always going on the front line.

To be a logistician means to move stuff from point A to point B, to keep mines running and to refine materials, to set orders at factory and to submit crates in storage depot... It's boring. “This is not why I came into the game, give me entertainment,” you will say and you are right.
I wrote this text to show the logistics as is. I believe that being a logistician is not painful. And if you keep in mind that a good supply is a guarantee of victory, it is not even boring. This is one of the most important roles in Foxhole. You can be the fastest shooter in the Wild West. Or the legendary partisan. Or an amazing medic. Or maybe your passion is artillery, the queen of war? Whichever role you choose, you will need resources.

Almost all things used in Foxhole are made by players. Thousands of first aid kits can accumulate in home regions, but what's the point if there is not one at the front line? How annoying it is to successfully position the howitzer, but not to have enough shells to destroy the target! Even the most patient infantryman turns off the berserk mode if he has to fight for hand-to-hand combat for a long time...

With the right approach, the logistician will help faction push the whole region (and sometimes not one) without leaving the truck. You will become a welcome player on all maps without exception. You will be waited as passionately as a bus driver during peak hours. And when you become a good logistician, all veterans will know your name. I think it's worth it to read this guide over, right?
What to do?
I'll start with an unobvious thing. When active battles are fought in the region, many players tend to get there, and a queue of them will appear.

A red triangle means that you will wait your turn for an unknown time. So, you will stand in the lobby and save up irritation. Be smarter and spend time with benefit!

Go to any home region that you prefer (The Heartlands, Great March, Shacled Chasm or The Moors, Reaching Trail, Weathered Expanse).

There you will find all the necessary equipment and a truck, load stuff into it and go to the front line with ease. Perhaps in good company - if you pick up other players along the way (6 people can ride in the truck including the driver).

I agree, you will spend a little more time on this, because you will need to cross borders between regions. But where you are going to fight you will definitely have the necessary equipment because you are taking it with you. It is much better than to arrive at the front line and find out that there is no rifle ammo here.

You do not have to be a logistician to supply the front. If each player spends a little time on preparation and brings a little bit of supplies, the game will become more interesting, and the world will be kinder. It is no secret that the more organized side wins the war.
Truck
You can build vehicles in "Vehicle Factory" marked as a truck at the map. You need 100 Bmats "basic material"to build a truck.

You will need to fill the truck with fuel. Pick up a Diesel (the third slot in the character's inventory), , go to vehicle and hold "LMB" (Left mouse button). 1 diesel will fill the truck completely. Diesel cannot be stacked, and each unit has 100L. It can be put into a Fuel Tanker to fuel other vehicles.
Your truck can be used by other players. If you do not want it (besides your truck can be used by the enemy), close it by pressing the "L" button. If the vehicle is locked only your squad members can use it (if you use this function). Vehicle can be unlocked by a wrench if enough time has passed.
Container
Container can hold up to 40 item crates or 4000 resources. When loaded, you can pack them up and load them on a flatbed truck or a Freighter with a crane.
Soldier Supply
Foxhole has training area, but practice shows that it is not enough. All the most important things you learn in the game. I will not retell the contents of the Wiki[foxhole.gamepedia.com] here. I want to share with you some practical conclusions.

So, the logistic headache is Soldier Supply (aka SS, shirt). What are they needed for? This is a player's chance to appear near the point set by him as a spawn point. In addition, 1 SS = 1 free pistol with 2 clips + hammer (this knowledge will be useful to you in cases where the supply is generally bad).

As a rule, players set a spawn point in the town or FOB close to the front line. If the spawn point is not set or there are no more SS in the selected location, after death the player will not be able to spawn here and will be moved to another point. What conclusions can be drawn from this?
№1
If you bring supplies to places where there are few shirts and / or they quickly run out, but you don’t have them and you don’t have them within reasonable time / distance limits, stop and open the map: which point will become strategically important if the previous one is lost? Evacuating stuff from town under attack is much longer than loading crates and clicking Submit, keep this in mind. The reverse is also true: if during the time when you were on the way the situation changed, the front line shifted forward and a new FOB was built, supply it. The exception is FOB, built only for automatic defense to work around it. Such FOB do not need to supply!
№2
You can play solo as a logistician, why not. But in all its glory a logistician can show himself when he works in a group. A game chat can literally break off from requests to bring this and that, but is it really necessary there? You do not know for sure. Most often you come from another region (and at the beginning of the war, when there are no factories or depots, and your lucky star shines, you can cross 3 or more borders). During your way, the situation can change dramatically. So keep your ear to the ground. Optimally, if you join the operation and / or work together with some group or clan (however, it is not necessary to be part of it).
№3
Analyze information from the game chat, messages about locations under attack and compare this with the position on the map. If at some point a howitzer has already been set, and the enemy has no problem getting shells for it, you will not be able to keep the city with even tons of resources.
№4
Fortune befriends the bold. But sometimes it is necessary to give the city to the enemy. After enemies destroy and rebuild your city or FOB, they will receive half of the supplies left after you. But the trick is that you can evacuate your stuff in advance. The enemy is wasting time, energy and resources on capturing the city and in return will receive amazing nothing. As a logistician, it is extremely important for you to know in advance about the retreat. Believe me, there is nothing more offensive than loading crates to a point that will be given to the enemy in a minute. Even a meeting with partisans is not so frustrating - in this case, at least you can force the enemy to destroy the truck along with you.
№5
In the heat of battle, many players forget or do not have time to change the spawn point. This is a routine. The player focuses on the battle, not on the number of SS. If the shirts are over, the player will be forced to appear elsewhere. While in the lobby, the player can select any point marked on the map with a diamond. Often these points are located far from the front line, and he is forced to run on foot. Be merciful to those who have just come to this region from the lobby - give players a ride to the front line if you have the opportunity. At war, time is precious. In addition, you will surely be thanked by the commends.
№6
The front line requires supplies around the clock. But you are a man, and you need to eat, sleep, enjoy real life. The war will continue after you leave the game. What if you have only hour of free time, and you do not intend to stay longer? Look at the map of any region where active battles are being fought (Deadlands, Farranac Coast, Endless Shore, etc.), and pay attention to the points at which players appear when moving from the lobby. You will be surprised how often gas masks are there, but no filters, there are weapons, but no suitable ammo and vice versa. I bet that not one radio will be there. Bring from rear regions what is missing, assemble this puzzle (but do not forget about sense of proportion)! Let those who come from the lobby to this region have a choice of weapons for every taste and necessary attributes (for example, a radio and gas mask with filters) in order to reach the front line without incident. Your feat is unlikely to know, because it is not so noticeable. This is not the story when you add your 100 to the 4 SS left in the Abandoned Ward and change the course of the battle. But think that by the end of war thousands of crates are piling up on home regions. Nobody cares to get them where they really come in handy.
№7
The logistician can supply the front line not only with crates and materials, but also with vehicles. Moreover, when the faction has armored cars and other сombat vehicles, the tactics change. Bring a couple of vehicles fully equipped with ammo and fuel to the frontline and watch the game chat in this region in 10-20 minutes. Probably, the number of requests like "we urgently need this and that ASAP" will be greatly reduced. But! Make sure that where you leave vehicles, there are enough gas masks and filters. Otherwise, the enemy green ash will force you to literally give him vehicle without a fight. It is also desirable that experienced players use this vehicle, but this is more a whim than the rule - you will not always have the time and desire to find a good crew. Although if we are talking about relic vehicles, which you need to find and excavate, it makes sense to think in advance who of the players will be able to wisely use your gift.
Secrets

We will talk about personal and public in Foxhole. But everything will be decent, you know me.
How to place an order in a factory
Do you know that orders in factories can be made not only for yourself?
When you confirm the order, below there is an inscription - in small letters, everything is as it should be for very important information.

The default is Personal. This means that only you can pick up the order. But! If you click on this caption, a drop-down list will appear.
Public status allows any player to pick up crates you ordered when they are ready.

If you managed to accept an invitation to a squad, then a third option will appear - your squad name. Now we will analyze specific examples.

We are all a bit greedy (someone, by the way, a lot). But I personally want to believe in the kindness of people. So I think that there are so few public orders in factories because “can I really do that?” An answer is yes, you can! And do it necessarily, because we all want to win, right?
For example, you personally do not need garrison supplies. Set it in Personal status only when you personally (!) take them to the place where they will prevent from decay. Just because GS crates has a long assembling time. The same with SS. It's one thing if you have already promised your friends that you will bring them long-awaited shirts from minute to minute - but they are not available in any storage depot. But if you put orders for shirts because of a sense of duty to the faction (well done, here's your cookie, buddy!), then change status to Public. Some logistician will surely deliver them to the right place.

By the way, how to see a list of all orders at the factory?
There are 3 tabs for each type of orders respectively. Selecting the last of them, you will see all the existing orders. From the same tab, you can pick up available crates.
Please, before leaving the game, rearrange all your orders for Public! Let's help each other. Peace, joy and happiness.
Why do you need to be in the squad?
I'll start from afar. Foxhole is a team game. To play effectively, players form groups or clans (as the most organized groups). Sometimes people want some things to be available only to them and no one else. But this is contrary to the concept of Foxhole - all property in the game is shared. The developers made a compromise and added squads to the game. Now you can lock the truck so that only a member of your squad can use it (but before you do this, make sure that there are more than 3 people in your region from your squad, otherwise the lock will not work). The same with orders at the factory: you make an order and calmly go about your business, and only your own people will be able to pick up this crates.
What other logs are in the game?
NB: all objects where there is a Submit button have logs. There is a history of who took and / or put something and how much (only relatively large batches are recorded, so you can take a radio, a gas mask, etc. without fear and beyond reproach).

Liberty, equality and fraternity is a great motto. But you can't do anything about spies and other pests. Reading the logs, you can find the villain who has devastated storage depot and go one-on-one. You might find this... hm... unfriendly. But if you will be engaged in logistics for a long time, one day you will certainly meet a bastard who despawn stuff from your storage depot, town hall or FOB.
Bonus if you read to the end
Not everyone knows about it, but supplies can be delivered not only in the crates, but also in stacks. Both the crate and the stack will occupy one slot in the truck. But the difference in quantity is enormous! Yes, this is a perversion - to grab a hundred clips of 3 pieces per click. Be prepared for the fact that you are considered abnormal, and only the lazy will not tell you condescendingly that you do not need to unpack the SS in the rear city of Reaching Trail.

But think about this. You and your friends gathered in the evening to play Foxhole. Going to the map, where there are so many players, is boring. Let’s go where everyone is afraid to turn around, get in trouble - they are waiting! Capture the fort on the outskirts, and then the war will show a plan. Is this familiar to you? And now let's imagine a truck in which there are 100 clips for a rifle (or other weapon that you have with you), 200 shirts, and the rest is packed with materials for building a defense. Yes, you will literally make any point on the map a fair where everything your heart desires! Of course, these supplies will not last long. But you will gain time, while the logisticians figure out what is going on and head towards you with the next piece of stuff. I think you understand what I mean.

War never changes. Developers throw us new challenges. But the essence remains the same - you can win only by joint efforts.
Logistic tools
There are special logistic tools developed by active members of the Foxhole community. They help to competently plan production stages, etc. One of these tools is https://foxhole-global.glitch.me/

This tool is created by Kastow. He is so cool that he spent his personal time creating the most convenient tool for the logistician.
